We will be raising a very limited number of pigs on pasture that are fed locally sourced no soy or corn feed that hasn’t been sprayed with any chemicals. They are raised on pastures that have purposely been planted for pigs and spend their final months being supplemented with walnuts, hazelnuts and apples. The addition of nuts into their diet not only influences the flavor profile of the meat, but is said to also positively effects many of the health benefits including increased oleic acid, alpha lineic acid, and vitamin E content,
